If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Homestead may be your perfect match.Job DescriptionThe Laundry department attendant will make sure that linens are processed in a timely fashion, in accordance with Omni Hotel standards, and should be comfortable operating all laundry equipment (ex. commercial dryer, commercial washer, linen folder, etc.). Responsibilities
Clean and process dirty linens
Fold and count laundered items
process the linens through the various machines
Alert manager or supervisor on duty if a machine is not working correctly
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs, and stand for 7-8 hours per shift
Must be able to bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and kneel on a regular basis throughout shift
Must be willing and able to work a flexible scheduling, including morning and evenings, weekends and holidays
Previous laundry experience in a professional setting (preferred)
Should be comfortable working in an enviroment that is hot due to the machines and processing the linens.
